PAUL MORRIS holds the rare dual board certification in both appellate practice and criminal appellate practice. He specializes in state and federal civil and criminal appeals and complex trial support. Mr. Morris has briefed and argued hundreds of appeals in state and federal appellate courts including the Supreme Court of the United States, Supreme Court of Florida, all of the District Courts of Appeal of Florida, other state appellate courts including New York and Illinois, and United States Circuit Courts of Appeal. He holds the highest "AV" rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and the South Florida Legal Guide of Top Lawyers and Law Firms in South Florida. Mr. Morris authors "Appellate Tips" for the Dade County Bar Bulletin and articles for the Florida Bar Journal and the University of Miami Law Review. He has taught at the University of Miami School of Law and continually lectures at legal education seminars.
